ITAérea Aeronautical Business School – Middle East is proud to announce the formalisation of two Memorandums of Understanding in Muscat, marking an important milestone for aviation education, future mobility and capacity building in the Sultanate of Oman.
The agreements were signed at the headquarters of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Sultanate of Oman, in the context of the Advanced Air Mobility Forum, organised by the Authority in support of the National Aviation Strategy 2040.
The Memorandum of Understanding between the Civil Aviation Authority and ITAérea was signed by Eng. Naif Ali Hamed Al Abri, President of the Civil Aviation Authority, and Jaime Brea Moreno, ITAérea Middle East Branch Director.
This institutional framework reflects a shared commitment to strengthening aviation education, executive development and national capacity-building across strategic areas for Oman’s aviation future, including aviation management, safety and oversight, Advanced Air Mobility, UAS, airspace integration, ATM–UTM coordination, sustainability, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, international air law, leadership and human factors.
The signing took place during the Advanced Air Mobility Forum, a highly relevant initiative led by the Civil Aviation Authority to bring together government and regulatory representatives, aviation stakeholders, industry, technology providers, investors, academia and young professionals around the safe and sustainable implementation of AAM in Oman.
A complementary Memorandum of Understanding was also signed between ITAérea and SERB, represented by Malik Al Nabhani, CEO of SERB, strengthening the local ecosystem for AAM, UAS, aviation innovation, specialised training and future capacity-building initiatives.

We also extend our gratitude to the Aviation National Strategy 2040 team at the Civil Aviation Authority and to the Oman Vision 2040 Office, especially Dr. Sumaiya Al Nabhani, Director of Oman Vision 2040 Office and Head of the National Aviation Strategy 2040 Management Team, for their leadership and continued work in advancing Oman’s long-term aviation ambitions.
