Zacharia Patricio is another example of a successful student of ITAérea’s Master in Sustainable Air Transport Management MATSM co-delivered with the United Nations. We had the chance to ask Zacharia his impressions about the MATSM and the sustainability of the air transport.
As an Inbound Coordinator at the United Nations, which do you think are the main needs in terms of sustainability of the air transport?
I think Air transport has become essential to our global society. It is a driver of economic, social and cultural development worldwide and has totally changed how we travel, interact with others and do business. It would be difficult to envisage a world without the sustainability of air transport.
How do you think that the Master in Sustainable Air Transport Management MATSM co-delivered by ITAérea and United Nations the is helping to meet these needs?
I would like to appreciate the roles of ITAérea and United Nations for having co-delivered this great master Program, after finishing my master in sustainable air transport management I come to understand the democratization of air travel is one of the wonders of our age. Access to sustainable air transport must be guaranteed for future generations.
How do you think that the MATSM has helped you in your daily work?
MATSM has given me the ways of understanding my responsibilities for sustainable development in the air transport sector, maximizing its support for economic development, reducing its impact on the environment, and consolidating its social benefits.
The Master in Sustainable Air Transport Management was very informative, and many of the case studies applied to my current work situation, and I learned a lot about strategies, which will enable me to cut costs in my operations.
What is your opinion about the MATSM?
In my view and understanding, the MATSM is pioneer in the air transport management worldwide at the present time and even for the future. This master’s program has widened my horizon in the sustainability of air transport management. The delivery method was clear, the tutors were fantastic, and we had some very interesting discussions in our online webinars.
