ITAérea Aeronautical Business School is pleased to announce the new Course on Revitalizing Airport Strategic Plans, a 4 hour programme jointly delivered by ITAérea and ACI World in e-learning modality on May 21.
As an Accredited Training Partner of ACI World, ITAérea delivers this course as a part of the collaboration agreement that the School maintains with ACI World for the development of training at an international level, both in on-site and in e-learning modalities.
The objective of the Course on Revitalizing Airport Strategic Plans is to showcase how strategic planning is essential for an airport to remain viable and to promote sustainable growth. The Strategic Plan reflects the examination of the macro-economic environment, key aviation industry trends that impact an Airport, a SWOT analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, quality service assessment of air services and a review of airport development opportunities.
Based on the results of this assessment, a number of key strategies are then developed to achieve the airport’s vision and help guide the airport over the next five (5) years or longer. In addition, this plan is directly linked to the Airport Master Plan and the Investment Attraction and Marketing Plan. The Strategic Plan also includes performance measures to track progress on an annual basis.
Training is provided using the e5 methodology, which is based in the 5 basic pillars of online training: e-learning, expertise, efficiency, employability and enhancement. The teaching centre is ITAérea’s Virtual Campus, where students may find all programme contents:
- Live sessions with the teachers via Zoom.
- Updated and international contents.
