ITAérea delivers a workshop for 70 top-level managers from Saudi Arabian airport companies: MARARAT, DACO. JEDCO & CLUSTER 2

On November 1st, we had the opportunity to participate in an excellent and informative workshop titled “Airports of the Future.” During this event, we had the chance to share various insights and discuss the new challenges that airports will face in the coming years, alongside more than 70 high-level professionals and experts from MATARAT and other companies.

These companies include Dammam Airports Company (DACO) (King Fahad International Airport – KFIA), Cluster 2 , which was launched on January 1, 2022, as the final milestone of the KSA Airports corporatization program.

Cluster 2 is responsible for managing and operating 22 airports across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, spanning regional, domestic, and tourism airports. The vision of Cluster 2 is to develop a thriving, safe, and sustainable network of interconnected regional and domestic airports that facilitate tourism, contribute to the Kingdom’s development, and promote a capable workforce. We also had professionals from Jeddah Airports Company (JEDCO), among otherS.

Our primary goal was to contribute and share synergies to help achieve the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in the airport and aviation industry.
