ITAérea Aeronautical Business School has partnered with the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) in order to deliver to its associates a virtual conference. This webinar will be hosted by Mr. Rodrigo Tavares, Environmental Manager at Salvador Bahia Airport, teacher at ITAérea and co-director of the Master in Sustainable Air Transport Management taught jointly with the United Nations.
In this virtual talk, Mr. Tavares will explain the procedures that have allowed him, together with his team, to obtain for the Salvador Bahia Airport the recognition of the most sustainable airport in Brazil, as well as being the first in Brazil to:
- have zero liquid effluent discharge;
- have zero waste to landfill; and
- produce and supply 30 percent of its needs with solar energy.
The virtual sessions like this one, taught equally in both Spanish and English, are aimed at establishing direct contact and interaction of students with the main actors in the sector, the teachers of ITAérea.
