Highlights of the 2024 graduation ceremony

Last Friday, March 15, the graduation ceremony for the postgraduates of the class of 2024 took place in Madrid, Spain.

The event was held in the emblematic Linares Palace – Casa América and brought together graduates of the 2023-2024 class from 22 countries on 5 continents, who had the opportunity to enjoy their well-deserved recognition and a unique experience. At the end of the event, a cocktail was served by the famous chef Ramón Freixa and an exquisite gala dinner.

We highlight the presence of the different personalities and teachers who accompanied the students, such as: Alex Mejía, Division Director of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research; David Scholz, Project Manager of ASUR, representing Héctor Navarrete, Executive Director of CIFAL Mérida; Javier Gándara, Honorary President and teacher of ITAérea, General Director of easyJet for southern Europe and President of ALA; Carlos Berenguer, Honorary Vice President and teacher of ITAérea; Elena Baillo, CFO of Iberia, teacher and promotion godmother; Luis José Cañón, Director of Innovation and Passenger Experience at AENA and teacher; César Ovelar, CFO of Gestair and teacher.

Representing ITAérea Aeronautical Business School, part of the ITAérea management team attended the graduation ceremony: The General Director of the Business School, José Ignacio Escudero, the Deputy General Director, Estrella Valera, the Academic Director, Iván López; the management team of ITAérea Madrid, made up of Luis Gallardo, David Ochoa and Víctor Vicente; the Directors of International Development, Jaime Brea and Àlex Baró and the Director of the MATSM, Rodrigo Tavares.

The following master’s degree programs were represented at the ceremony through our students:

  • Master in Sustainable Air Transport Management MATSM taught jointly with the United Nations.
  • Master of Business Administration in Aviation Management MBAAM.
  • Master in Airport and Aeronautics Management and Direction in its 3 modalities: executive face-to-face, executive e-learning and University.
  • Professional Master in Aeronautical Industry and Innovation MI2A.
  • Master in Management and Direction of MGDRON Drone Companies.
  • Master in Aeronautical and Airport Safety MSAA.
  • Master in Airport and Aeronautical Safety MAAS.

In parallel with the graduation ceremony, various interviews were carried out with the graduates in which we were able to learn first-hand about their impressions about ITAérea and the training received. Very soon we will announce these interviews on our website and social networks, in which you will be able to learn more about the experiences and learning of our students during their academic year at the School.
