ACI WORLD grants ITAérea official recognition as an Accredited Training Center

On November 7 in MIAMI, ACI WORLD awarded ITAérea Aeronautical Business School with the recognition plaque as an accredited training center of the ACI WORLD network.

The accreditation of ITAérea as a training partner of ACI WORLD represents the recognition and enhancement of the School’s good work in accordance with the highest quality standards in airport training, using the latest technologies and in line with the best practices of airport and aeronautical management.

Given the international nature of ACI WORLD and ITAérea, there are many synergies that these two institutions can take advantage of for mutual benefit. For its part, ITAérea provides training in Portuguese, Spanish and English throughout the world and ACI WORLD is the institution that groups and represents all the airports in the world, these being close to 2,000 in 176 countries.

With this global alliance, ITAérea has not only taken another step in its strategic projection, but also provides all its students, present and future, with a package of resources, international contacts and opportunities that will help enhance their careers at the highest level.

It should be noted that ITAérea was already a permanent member of the Latin American and Caribbean region of ACI and also of the European region, so this third agreement as a strategic partner of ACI WORLD adds to the previous two and reinforces the School’s position in the international panorama.

Representing ITAérea, the event was attended by its General Director, José Ignacio Escudero and the Deputy General Director, Estrella Valera, who received the ACI WORLD recognition from its General Director, Luís Felipe de Oliveira, and the Director of Training, Dimitri Coll.

Likewise, representing ACI WORLD was Gurjit Gill, whom we thank for his professionalism, as well as his close and elegant personal treatment.

We conclude this news entry by mentioning the visit to ITAérea Madrid by Issa Castro, Director of Training Programs at ACI World, which took place on October 19. The executive visited the ITAérea headquarters in the capital in order to audit the facilities, an essential requirement for the recognition as an accredited training center. The visit to the headquarters was guided by our Academic Director, Iván López and by Alex Baró, Business Development Director of ITAérea, accompanied by administrative, technical and auxiliary staff from the center.
