These headquarters were not included in the international expansion plan and in the beginning, were not located in Hong Kong, but in Shanghai. Its raison d'être was a proposal by the Jet One company to establish a partnership with ITAérea in the specific field of air navigation training.
Although quantitatively is not one of the School headquarters with a greater specific clout, it has a high inherent organisational complexity. Its language, culture and the fact that it offered from the outset the face-to-face modality for training, endorse this characteristic.
An agreement with ITAérea Barcelona was signed in order to conduct there the required face-to-face training. Every year so far, we receive several groups from Hong Kong and we accommodate them in the best possible way.
Hong Kong is one of the two special administrative regions that, together with the 22 counties, 5 autonomous regions and 4 municipalities, make up the People's Republic of China. It consists of a peninsula and several islands located in the south coast of the South China Sea, at the Pearl River delta, 100 km to the southeast of the Canton city and east of the special administrative region of Macau.
With a total area of 1108 sq. km and a population of more than 7.3 million people, it is the 4th sovereign state or territory most densely populated in the world.
